Xuan Ye returns to DEALL as Senior Academic Program Specialist after earning her MA in Chinese Linguistics from the department in 2023. Since then, she has served as Pedagogy Specialist and Academic Coordinator for Indiana University Bloomington's Chinese Language Flagship program, providing one-on-one instruction to Chinese students at all proficiency levels and teaching courses such as Third-Year Chinese, Chinese in Humanities (Fifth-Year Chinese), and Classical Chinese Arts. Beyond overseeing Flagship academic operations, her work centered on building training systems for tutors and associate instructors. She also has a strong interest in career-centered curriculum design and has integrated career readiness modules into her teaching. Her recent research and practice focus on integrating AI and UX principles into Chinese language instruction, including an AI job-fit assessment tool. At OSU, she leads the Chinese language program's GTA training, program coordination, event planning, and curriculum design.
